Activities


Presently, the main activities of JAS include the following:

  • Publishing a bimonthly newsletter
     
  • Publishing the Japanese Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research, a professional journal (in Japanese with English abstracts)
     
  • Vol. 1, No. 1, 2004 - Contents:
  • Vol. 2, No. 1, is scheduled for March 2005.
     
  • Holding an annual convention. The next convention will be held in Saitama City on June 11-12, 2005.
     
  • Delivering professional workshops and seminars. JAS provides continuing education programs to meet the needs of professionals from time to time in different regions of Japan.
     
  • Conducting research on professional issues.
